Traditionaly the weekend before the Aviemore sled dog rally, this race gives mushers on the way up north, those not going and beginners the chance to run these fast trails! Now in its 9th year! The race was founded by Matt Hammersley and Iain Hutchinson. Iain sadly passed away from lukeamia and the race is now held in his memory. A night run followed by a daylight run with an evenings entertainment in the wonderful gavellers cafe.

COMPETITION
STARTS: 5pm Saturday, 8.30am Sunday
TRAIL: Fast - Hard-packed forestry trails. Uphill start ( the giants chair!) for approx 100m then
undulating. Juniors and R start at the top of the hill. Marshals
are needed, please register your ability to help on your entry
form.
ENTRY FEES: Cheques/Postal Orders made payable to “Wyedean Mushing”
FACILITIES: On-site café (hot and cold foods) and toilet block.
